Butler Gaming Therapy Group

Log on and achieve your goals!

Our innovative Gaming Therapy groups use the popular online games Minecraft and Animal Crossing to help neurodivergent children and adults connect through a shared love of gaming.

Group sessions are held on Therapy Focus’ secure web server, where participants are assigned specific roles and work together to achieve a shared goal. This process encourages social connection in a fun and safe environment, and has been proven to be particularly beneficial in achieving social therapy goals.

This group is open to young people aged 9+ years and will use Animal Crossing.

Sessions will be held Tuesday 2nd July between 1:00pm - 3:00pm, and then Thursday 4th, Tuesday 9th, and Thursday 11th July between 9:30am - 11:30am.

Sessions are facilitated by qualified therapists and can be accessed using NDIS funding or purchased privately.

Participants are required to bring their own Nintendo Switch device and animal crossing game.
