Therapy Focus enters new chapter with APM Group, retaining all staff and services

By Therapy Focus

Today, we are pleased to officially announce the transition of Therapy Focus into the APM Group, with all staff, locations and therapy services to be retained.

This outstanding outcome follows an extensive review of Therapy Focus, which entered Voluntary Administration on 9 October. Independent Administrators, Rob Kirman and Rob Brauer of McGrathNicol, were appointed to assess the organisation and recommend the best path forward.

We are delighted that the transaction with APM was successfully approved today following a majority vote at the Second Meeting of Creditors on 11 December. This enables Therapy Focus to continue delivering the high-quality, person-centred therapy supports our customers expect throughout their therapy journey with us.

Since our establishment as a not-for-profit organisation in 1998, Therapy Focus has grown to become a respected leader in the WA disability sector. The successful acquisition by APM ensures we can continue on this mission under APM’s stewardship, delivering stability, sustainability, and continuity of high-quality care for you and your family.

We are delighted that all staff, all clinic locations and therapy services will remain. This means our customers will be supported by the same therapists, in their usual settings, working towards their therapy goals without interruption.

APM operates one of Australia’s leading allied health therapy networks through Early Start Australia, Everyday Independence, and LifeCare and is committed to maintaining high-quality care and service delivery for Western Australians.

They are a strong value-led organisation, founded in 1994 in WA. APM’s commitment remains to delivering excellent services for NDIS participants and ensuring continuity of your therapy supports. With the strong support of APM, we are well-positioned to move forward into the future.

Thank you for allowing us to support and be part of your therapy journey. We look forward to building on our shared successes in 2026 and beyond.

If you have any questions, please contact your key therapist, email us or call 1300 135 373.
