An update on Therapy Focus
How Therapy Focus is supported and managed behind the scenes is changing, as services transition into harmonising with Everyday Independence, part of the APM Group. This brings together the strengths of Therapy Focus and Everyday Independence, supported by APM’s broader therapy network and shared services, to support high‑quality therapy now and into the future.
For our customers: this creates better access to services, reduced wait times, and more consistent, high-quality care, ensuring every person gets the support they need, when they need it.
For WA communities: together, we can reach more people, in more places, with a sustainable model that protects essential services and strengthens long-term impact.
Everyday Independence joined the APM Group in 2022 and, like Therapy Focus, delivers person‑centred allied health services with a strong focus on clinical quality and safeguarding. The transition provides access to stronger systems, governance and operational support, allowing teams to focus more on delivering care to our customers and less on administration.
There is no planned disruption to services or appointments for customers or their families. If any impacts arise, we will communicate early and respond appropriately. APM will continue to engage openly with government partners, funders and stakeholders to provide assurance on service continuity, safeguarding and delivery against existing obligations.
Importantly, Therapy Focus’ people, brand, identity and Guiding Principles remain. While Therapy Focus will now operate as part of Everyday Independence for legal and program funding purposes, its commitment to Western Australian communities continues.
