CEO Update: Autumn 2025

By Alison Kelly

Chief Executive Officer

We are a quarter into the year of 2025, the team at Therapy Focus is busy planning for the milestones and opportunities that lie ahead, while also celebrating what we have already achieved.

As we transition from the intense heat of Bunuru to the cooler days of Djeran (April – May), we welcome the refreshing change of crisp mornings and milder temperatures. The arrival of this season brings a much-needed respite, allowing us to embrace the outdoors and engage more comfortably with our community.

We welcomed our first cohort of 23 graduates at the start of February, from Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy disciplines to our orientation day at Hillview Intercultural Community Centre.

I am proud to lead one of Western Australia’s leading disability service providers, with a team dedicated to nurturing the growth of emerging talent. I am confident that after completing our comprehensive program, our graduate allied health clinicians will be well established on their journey of clinical excellence.

After much anticipation, nominations are now open for our prestigious 2025 People’s Choice Award! This award recognises exceptional service delivery and celebrates Therapy Focus employees who embody our Guiding Principles in their work. I encourage you to acknowledge those who have gone above and beyond by nominating them for the People’s Choice Award. Nominate your therapy hero today!

I also wish to take a moment to commemorate ANZAC Day on Friday, 25 April. This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings- a time to honour all Australians who have served in both peace and war.

On behalf of the team at Therapy Focus, I wish you and your family a very safe and happy Easter weekend, filled with lots of laughter and plenty of sweet treats!
