Maria McCarthy
Team Leader and Registered Senior Psychologist
Maria has experience working across the lifespan, treating adults, adolescents and children. Maria is warm and empathetic and values the importance of creating a safe, non-judgemental space to build a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. She is trauma-informed, strengths-based and neuro-affirming in her practice and is experienced in working with neurodivergent and neurotypical clients. Maria is passionate about therapy being a collaborative process and client-centred, and being flexible in her therapeutic approach.
Maria employs a variety of therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma focussed CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, solutions focused therapy and psychoeducation. She also has completed advanced training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) which is used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Maria works with a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, stress, anger management, depression, grief and loss, social and relationship difficulties, life transitions, parenting and attachment, and children who experience emotional and behavioural difficulties. Maria also has experience in completing cognitive and adaptive functioning assessments. She notes that attending therapy is an important and sometimes difficult step, and aims to ensure the therapeutic experience is positive and rewarding.

Elliot Smith
Registered Psychologist
Elliot has extensive experience working within the NDIS framework. Specialising in psychological support for individuals with disabilities, Elliot is dedicated to enhancing the mental health and overall wellbeing of NDIS participants.
Elliot integrates a range of therapeutic modalities which includes but is not limited to cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), solutions focused therapy (SFT) mindfulness-based techniques, emotional regulation training and psychoeducation tailored to each client’s needs. He has experience working with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, behavioural challenges, life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief and anger.
Elliot’s warm and friendly approach is grounded in a client-centred philosophy, emphasising collaboration and respect. Elliot tailors therapy to the specific needs and goals of each client, recognising that every individual’s experiences are unique and that each client brings their own set of circumstances and personal strengths, which serve as the foundation for positive change.

Suzanne Woods
Registered Psychologist
Suzanne graduated with a Master of Professional Psychology in 2021, with prior experience working in the community mental health sector. Suzanne values creating a safe space and collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients and has experience working with children (age 6+), young people, and adults.
Suzanne has a sound understanding of the social model of disability and is experienced in supporting clients with disabilities accessing support via the NDIS. Suzanne is particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals through strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming practices. Suzanne is self-motivated and considers all developmental and contextual factors that may impact client’s mental health and wellbeing.
Suzanne can support with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, perfectionism, low self-esteem and confidence, self-identity, bullying and conflict management, grief and loss, sleep issues, emotional regulation and coping skills, attachment issues, and parental psychoeducation and coaching. Suzanne draws from a range of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing, and solutions focused therapy.

Noor Ul Sahar
Registered Psychologist
Noor is a positive behaviour support practitioner and a registered psychologist. She has experience working with children and adolescents and their families. Noor has a positive and can-do attitude to all her work and has received extremely positive comments from the wider community around her rapport and skills with clients.
As a behaviour support practitioner, she has been working with children with behavioural difficulties, developing behaviour support plans, holding stakeholder meetings, attending school case conferences and IEP meetings, and participated in the NDIS Quality Assurance Panel for restrictive practices in behaviour support plans.
In her role as a registered psychologist, Noor has engaged in a variety of therapeutic interventions including stress management, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), and psychoeducation. Noor works with clients having a wide range of concerns including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), acquired brain injury (ABI), anxiety, stress, panic disorder, and depression.
Noor comes from a diverse background. She can speak English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi and can comfortably hold sessions in these languages. Being a Muslim, Noor understands religious boundaries and adheres to the client’s spiritual needs.

Roisin Megahey
Registered Psychologist
Rosie is a warm, collaborative clinician who is passionate about supporting individuals and families to enhance their mental wellbeing, build independence, and work toward meaningful personal goals. Rosie graduated from Murdoch University in 2021 and brings four years of experience working within the NDIS. She has extensive experience working across the lifespan supporting children, adolescents, adults, and working with couples and families. Rosie has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients. Rosie specialises in autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, and emotional regulation difficulties, but works with a variety of presentations. This includes mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, adjustment difficulties (life transitions and school refusal), sleep disturbances, grief and loss, self-esteem and identity related concerns, and parent support and psychoeducation.
Rosie draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). Her flexible and individualised approach allows her to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Rosie is known for her gentle, supportive, and collaborative style, creating a safe and respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Gemma Pritchett
Provisional Psychologist
Gemma graduated with a Master of Professional Psychology in 2025, and Bachelor of Psychology in 2022. Prior to this, Gemma worked as an Occupational Therapist (OT) for 9 years and spent 5 years specialising in behaviour support and the mental health space. Working as an OT and Behaviour Support Practitioner, Gemma has several years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults within the NDIS. Additionally, she has worked within the mental health sector of WA Health, including adult community acute care, inpatient drug and alcohol support, youth mental health in the home, and youth inpatient care. More recently, as a Provisional Psychologist, Gemma has worked in therapeutic residential foster care, where she developed skills in trauma focused intervention. Gemma has a passion for working with individuals with disabilities, and adapting intervention based on the individual’s needs.
Gemma employs various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Gemma works with a variety of presentations, including anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, social and relationship support, parenting support and psychoeducation, grief and loss, life transition, addictive behaviour and self-esteem.

Beatrice Waran
Counsellor and Occupational Therapist
Beatrice is a mental health counsellor and occupational therapist. She has worked as a community occupational therapist for 5 years and moved on to complete her Master’s in counselling and work in the mental health field over the last few years. She has experience working under NDIS, home care packages and fee for service programs.
Beatrice’s working style is compassionate, collaborative and empathetic hoping to provide a safe and warm environment for individuals of all age groups; to foster mental wellness and healing.
Beatrice is passionate about working with people experiencing mental illness, physical and intellectual disabilities or injuries endeavouring to aid them in achieving goals to help them live fulfilling lives. Beatrice’s client work involves working with trauma, depression, anxiety, risk, domestic violence, grief, loss and relationship issues. Beatrice is experienced in providing relevant mental health screening tools and assessments. She utilises a person-centred approach, emotions focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based and psychoeducation strategies to facilitate personal recovery and mental wellness.

Jo McGowan
Counsellor
Jo graduated with a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, with extensive experience working under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and has had the privilege of supporting individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as guiding families through the complexities of palliative care. Her clinical background includes experience working with trauma, managing critical risk issues, and developing safety plans and risk assessments for clients ranging from their teenage years to adulthood.
Jo is particularly passionate about advocating for men’s mental health and providing support for individuals navigating trauma, critical risk concerns, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and grief. Her approach is centered around empathy, compassion, and a commitment to empowering clients across the lifespan to gain new perspectives and insights.
Jo works with a person-centered and holistic approach, embracing a range of therapeutic modalities including Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her goal is to offer non-judgmental, culturally sensitive support, helping clients better understand themselves while fostering healing and growth.
