CAEP
Therapy Focus currently manages the budget for the Community Aids and Equipment Program (CAEP) for specialised disability.
How CAEP can help you
This program, supported by the WA Health Department, provides basic and essential assistive technology (AT) for people with long-term health, disability or age-related functional impairment who meet the CAEP eligibility criteria.
More information on CAEP eligibility can be found on the Government of Western Australia website or contact your CAEP service provider.
What does CAEP fund?
CAEP primarily funds assistive technology for assistance in the home environment. If you are eligible for CAEP, but your piece of equipment is not for the home (e.g. a community access wheelchair), you may wish to consider the CAEP Plus Grant.
The following guides and application forms will assist you in applying for CAEP eligible assistive technology. This information can also be found on the WA Health website.
