Sharon is a qualified Occupational Therapist with additional qualifications in management and teaching. She worked as an Occupational Therapist in the UK for over 20 years in health and social care and was a national Board Member for the British Association of Occupational Therapists.

Sharon has a breadth of experience as a therapist and manager with specialist experience in upper-limb, rehabilitation and pediatric services. Sharon joined Therapy Focus in 2012 and has worked as an Advanced Therapist and Team Leader. Her passion lies in supporting customers with complex physical and social needs. As a creative problem solver, Sharon thrives on finding innovative solutions, all while being supported by an incredible team that shares her dedication to making a positive impact.

Outside of work, you will find Sharon working on DIY projects, upcycling and repurposing object to make them beautiful and functional. She always has projects on the go! Sharon is passionate about dogs and have had 19 dogs over the years, usually rescued or fostered. On the weekends, Sharon volunteer for Pets of Older People (POOPS) as a Welcome Officer. She visits older people in their own homes and supports them in getting to know how POOPS can help them and assess their dogs to ensure they can be walked safely by POOPS volunteers.
