Heidi studied at Curtin University, where she completed a Bachelor of Human Communication Science, specialising in Speech Pathology. With over 20 years of experience as a Speech Pathologist, Heidi has worked across various settings, including early intervention at Disability Services Commission, private practice, at The Dyslexia-Speld Foundation and in a private Stuttering Clinic. For the past 8 years, she has been a Senior Speech Pathologist in the disability sector and is currently a Team Leader at Therapy Focus, where she combines clinical expertise with leadership experience to provide quality support to clinicians and clients.

As a team leader at Therapy Focus, Heidi is passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals by building their capacity and promoting independence. She is committed to creating a collaborative and supportive environment where both clients and team members can thrive, guided by the core values of respect, inclusion, and teamwork. Heidi strongly believes in the power of trust and that together, we can accomplish great outcomes. The relationships built with clients and the ongoing support from the organisation are what she truly enjoys about her role, in addition to, making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Outside of work, Heidi loves spending time in nature, she also has a passion for baking, and treasures time spent with her family. On weekends, you’ll often find Heidi enjoying a swim at the beach, walking through the forest, or baking up a fresh batch of sourdough.
