Our Grants for Inclusion, Value and Equality (GIVE) assist with the purchase of items and activities that support independence, participation and social inclusion of people living with disability.
1 in 3 Western Australians are affected by disability.* This includes people living with a disability and those caring for people with disabilities.
Many people with disabilities experience some form of limitation or restriction due to their disability. Sadly, this can often go hand in hand with feelings of isolation and exclusion, as they find it more difficult to participate in the community and everyday life.
In many cases specialised equipment, activities, resources and other supports can help people with disabilities realise their potential and increase their ability to participate. Though as valuable as these supports are, many items are ineligible for Government funding and are too expensive for families to purchase themselves.
That’s where our GIVE Program comes in.
The charitable program provides grant packages of $500, $1000, $2500 and $5000 to assist with the purchase of items such as equipment, communication devices, sporting and recreational activities, home and garden modifications, vehicle modifications, respite, memberships and much more.
Often it’s that little bit of extra support that makes all the difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families. But don’t take our word for it. Read the stories of families who have benefited from the GIVE Program and decide for yourself.
