Connectors Group: Island Inclusion (9-14 years)
Collaborating and connecting through social and emotional learning
Our Connectors groups are designed to help neurodiverse children and adults achieve their therapy goals through collaboration and social connection.
Group sessions are held on Therapy Focus’ secure web server, where participants might work together to manage an island’s development, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and strategic decision-making. These activities support group members to use and develop skills such as planning, organisation, and flexible thinking.
This group is open to participants aged 9-14 years and will use Animal Crossing.
Sessions will be held Tuesday 14 - Friday 17 January 2025 from 10.00am - 1.00pm at Therapy Focus' Margaret River office.
Sessions are facilitated by qualified therapists and can be accessed using NDIS funding or purchased privately.
Participants can bring their own device if they have one, and a game account is required.
Registrations close 10 January 2025
