Leaving school is a big step. We help people with disabilities explore the opportunities available after school and provide support to find the right option for each individual.
Some post school options include tertiary education or further study, employment, volunteering and recreation programs. Our qualified therapists work closely with individuals, their family, carers and other agencies (i.e. local coordinators) to explore options based on interests and aspirations. We then provide support to access chosen pathways and the resources required.
Support can include:
- Assistance with decision making
- Liaison with disability supports at tertiary education bodies (e.g. universities and TAFE)
- Referral to Disability Employment Agencies
- Workplace supports
- Referral to recreation programs
- Skill development
- Transport training
- Access to funding
- Assistive technology and equipment
How we work
Our therapy teams work collaboratively to deliver evidence-based therapy services that help people with disabilities achieve their goals in life.
Service delivery is flexible and tailored to the unique needs of each individual, their family and carers.
Our services can be accessed through a range of funding options. We can help you find out if you’re eligible and provide further information about the options available.
