Research shows that providing therapy in everyday environments leads to better outcomes and makes a difference in your everyday life.

Our therapists travel to the locations where you want to receive services, including your home, school, workplace and in the community. You will be charged for the time it takes your therapist to travel to and from their office to an appointment at the location/s where you want to receive services. A rate of 85 cents per kilometre will also be charged in addition to the time spent travelling.

Travel to locations in the Perth metropolitan area

  • The maximum we will charge for travel per session is 30 minutes each way.
  • We will not charge more than 20% of our agreed NDIS budget for travel.

Travel to locations in regional areas

  • The maximum we charge for travel per session is 60 minutes each way.
  • We will not charge more than 40% of our agreed NDIS budget for travel.

Therapists delivering specialist services, such as complex equipment prescription, positive behaviour support, dietetics and continence services, may need to charge travel from a different office to the one listed in your Service Agreement. The same maximum charges of 30 minutes in metro areas and 60 minutes in regional areas still apply. The same travel caps of 20% for metropolitan areas and 40% for regional areas still apply.

We want to keep the cost of travel to a minimum. We do this by:

Being close to you

We have more than 20 office locations throughout the wider Perth metropolitan area, in the South West and other regional areas of Western Australia.

Coordinating visits in your area

Where possible, we book appointments with other customers in your area on the same day to reduce travel costs.

Sharing the time and cost of travel

When we see a number of customers in the same location or area, the time it takes to travel there and the cost of travel is shared evenly between those customers. This reduces the cost to individuals and makes it fair for everyone.
