Our therapists travel to the locations where you want to receive services. This can include your home, school, workplace and in the community.

Research shows that providing therapy in everyday environments leads to better outcomes and makes a difference in your everyday life.

Travel to locations in the Perth metropolitan area
  • We will charge up to a maximum of 30 minutes travel per visit in the Perth metropolitan area.
  • Travel in the Perth metropolitan area is capped at 20% of your agreed NDIS service – unless other arrangements are made.
Travel to locations in regional areas
  • We will charge up to a maximum of 60 minutes travel per visit in regional areas.
  • Travel in regional areas is capped at 40% of your agreed NDIS service – unless other arrangements are made.

The maximum that we charge for travel for each visit will be agreed with you. You will not be charged more than the time it would take to travel directly to you from our closest office (or the agreed office*). We do not charge for return travel.

We want to keep the cost of travel to a minimum.

Being close to you

We have more than 20 office locations throughout the wider Perth metropolitan area, in the South West and other regional areas of Western Australia.

Coordinating visits in your area

Where possible, we book appointments with other clients in your area on the same day.

Sharing the time spent travelling

When we see a number of clients in the same location or area, the time it takes to travel there is shared evenly between those clients. This reduces the cost to individuals and makes it fair.

*In some situations we may agree to travel from an office that is further away from your home. This might be because you want to regularly receive services in a location that is a long way from home (e.g. school, work or community locations). In this case we will agree on a suitable amount of travel to charge you.

Some of our specialist services, such as complex equipment prescription, behaviour support, dietetics and continence services may need to charge travel from a different office. The same maximum charges of 30 minutes in metro areas and 60 minutes in regional areas still apply. The same travel caps of 20% for metropolitan areas and 40% for regional areas still apply.
