Our Grants for Inclusion, Value and Equality (GIVE) assist with the purchase of items and activities that promote independence, participation and social inclusion of people living with disability.
How does the program work?
The charitable program provides grant packages of $500, $1000, $2500 and $5000 to assist with the purchase of items such as equipment, communication devices, sporting and recreational activities, home and garden modifications, vehicle modifications, respite, memberships and much more.
GIVE Program funding rounds are held quarterly (4 times a year) with applications open for 4 weeks.
The number of packages available each round depends on the amount of funding available.
If the number of applications for a grant package exceeds the number available, then applications will be placed into a draw. For example, if 3 x $500 grant packages are available in a round and 5 applications are received, then all 5 applications will go into a draw and the first 3 drawn will be awarded funding – so long as the applications meet the eligibility criteria.
For more information about how our GIVE Program works, view our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for funding, applications must:
- Benefit a Therapy Focus client (active or waitlisted), their parent or carer
- Demonstrate that the requested item(s) will support independence, participation and/or social inclusion of the Therapy Focus client and/or their family.
Our GIVE Committee reviews all applications to check that they meet eligibility criteria before awarding funding.
How do I apply?
Therapy Focus clients, their parents, carers, family members, teachers, support workers and therapists can apply to the GIVE Program by submitting an application form.
