Physical Education and Disability

By Edith Cowan University

Edith Cowan University researchers are exploring what high school Physical Education experiences were like for people with disability.

The goal of this survey is to gain valuable insights from those with firsthand experiences and explore how participants’ experiences may have differed in different physical activity contexts such as extracurricular or community sports.

Who can participate in this study?

Participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Identify as having a physical or intellectual disability as per the definition of the Disability Discrimination Act (1992).
  • Are 18+ years of age.

  • Have completed lower secondary HPE in a Western Australian educational institution in the last 10 years.

This survey is open to people of all identities.

What are the benefits?
