Caregiver Experiences of Transporting Children with Disabilities and/or Medical Conditions

By Curtin University

Researchers from Curtin University are gathering Caregiver Experiences of Transporting Children with Disabilities and/or Medical Conditions

What’s the project about?

This project will gather Caregiver Experiences of Transporting Children with Disabilities and/or Medical Conditions. It is anticipated that the information gathered from this study will provide health professionals with an understanding of the experience of caregivers, which will enable them to better support caregivers and make better informed and individualised strategies in transporting children with a disability. This will improve the health, and well-being of both caregivers and children with disabilities as caregivers will feel better supported in their role of transporting the child, and the child will be transported in a safer manner.

Who can participate?

Caregivers of a child with a disability and/or medical condition that you travel with.

How do I participate?

Answer a few questions about yourself and your family and participate in an interview about your experiences transporting your child. The interviews are anticipated to take an hour and can be complete online or on the telephone.

You will receive a voucher as a token of appreciation for your time.
